The Kaleidoscope Program

Kaleidoscope was a work environment-based program in Richmond BC that prepared youth for future employment.  Youth were paid minimum wage, 30+ hours a week while they embarked on a learning-filled, 12-week journey.

Our participants have found work writing for magazines, learning how to cook, setting up and decorating large events, working in a health food store, a casting studio…in every job sector.

“Before the program was even finished, I landed myself a new job! I learned how to properly job search and market myself, how to act in interviews…Kaleidoscope really lets you shine with new skills, and makes the ones you already have appear brighter. The facilitators are with you every step of the way and truly committed to helping you find your footing in a new career.” ~ Kassandra (participant)

Our participants gained:

  • Self-confidence developed through hands-on projects & 7 weeks of work experience
  • Increased capacity to find work with effective strategies, tools, and attitude
  • Skills that are foundational to being successful and valuable in any workplace
