THE YKW PROGRAM

The Youth Keep Working program is for youth based in the Aldergrove-Abbotsford–Mission area. This 12-week program prepares you for the workplace with a combination of customer service/retail training, life skills and job search training and certifications, plus eight weeks of actual work experience.

You’ll leave Youth Keep Working with a resume that reflects your new skills and experience, plus the confidence and know-how to find a job.

  • Program Allowance: $10.85 per hour for 30 hours per week
  • Program Length: 12 weeks
  • Program Location: Abbotsford, BC

To qualify you must be:

  • Between the ages of 16 and 30
  • Out of school and not employed
  • Not receiving employment insurance benefits (EI) and eligible to work in Canada
