YOUTH KEEP WORKING
Youth Keep Working is a program for youth aged 15-30 years based in Abbotsford. During the 12-weeks youth are paid a wage, 32.5 hours a week. Youth will get a chance to learn about themselves and where they want to fit in the world of work, plus get support in securing their next job.
Youth Keep Working is a setting in which the kinds of skills needed for employment are modeled and taught along with hands-on application of those skills.
Youth Keep Working leave the program with new confidence and know-how, and often with a new job.
- Program Allowance: $15.65 an hour for up to 32.5 hours per week
- Program Length: 12 weeks
- Program Location: Abbotsford, BC
To qualify you must be:
- Between the ages of 15 and 30
- Out of school and not employed
- Eligible to work in Canada
